Ask Me Anything

Listen to this Ministry Message Moment

Did you know that you can ask God anything? And you actually should ask God anything. He is a big God and fully capable of being queried our hardest postulations.

In Matthew 7:7-8 (ESV) we are encouraged to ask, seek and knock. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

This scripture identifies all of the ways that we approach God. Sometimes we are far from God and have to first knock on His door, and when we do He will open it to us. Sometimes we are in the same house as Him but not the same room so we must seek after Him, and when we do we will find Him. And sometimes we are in the same room with Him and simply need to ask Him a question, and when we do we will receive a response from Him.

We inquire of God when we pray, however intercession is not just about us talking to God. Prayer is most effective when we regularly set our hearts to listen to what His Spirit would impart to us. In this way we can better understand the answers to the toughest questions we dare put to Him.

[Prayer]: I thank you Lord that I can ask you anything at any time. Allow me to quiet my heart, mind and soul to receive your response. May I daily commune with you as I ask, seek and knock. In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.
